DESTINATIONS 7 DAY TOUR OF THE DESERT

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

Arrival at the port of Tangier, where I will pick you up and we start our journey towards Chefchaouen. On the way, we will make a stop in the city of Tetouan, known as the "Spanish town". By the evening, get to Chefchaouen, where you'll have free time to discover its narrow streets and old houses painted in pale blue and white. Enjoy the beautiful scenic views before you go to relax in a riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Fes

In the morning, you will have free time to learn more about the charming Chefchaouen. At noon, we will go to Fez, crossing the mountains of the Rif. We will arrive to Fes in the afternoon and spend the night in a riad.

Day 3: cultural Visit to Fez

Dedicate the day to discover Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco. You can visit many historical monuments such as the Royal Palace, factories, ceramic, Medersas (koranic schools) of Chahrij, Bou Inania and Attarin, as well as the souks and Fes El-Jedid. The day will culminate with a visit to the Karaouine Mosque, the first university in the world. You will spend the night in a riad.

Day 4: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Merzouga

We will head to Merzouga, passing by Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco", and the cedars forest in Azrou, where you can see monkeys climbing the trees. We continue through the mountains of the Middle Atlas, the valley of Ziz and Errachidia, until we reach Erfoud, famous for its fossils. Finally, we will arrive to Merzouga, where we will ride camels to reach the camp in the desert and spend the night under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Ouarzazate

Wake up early to enjoy a beautiful sunrise in the dunes. After breakfast, departure to Ouarzazate, passing through Rissani, where we will visit the traditional souk. We will continue towards the Gorges of Todra and the Dades valley, known as the valley of the roses and the Skoura oasis. Arrival to Ouarzazate and overnight in a hotel.

Day 6: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

After breakfast, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a unesco World Heritage site of UNESCO and the scene of many films. We will continue our trip to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas mountains via the pass of Tizi N'tichka. Arrival to Marrakech and overnight in a riad.

Day 7: cultural Visit to Marrakech

The day is dedicated to explore Marrakech, the imperial city of the south. We will visit the Koutoubia mosque, the tombs Saadianas of the SIXTEENTH century, the Bahia Palace and its beautiful gardens. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the souks and alleys around the square Djemaa el-Fna square. Transfer to Marrakech airport and end of our services.
